Giorgos Argitis is Professor of Macroeconomics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He holds a BA in economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MS from the University of London, UK and a Ph.D from the University of Cambridge, UK. He is the author/co-author of six books and many monographs, policy papers and academic papers that have appeared in, for example, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic issues, Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, Review of Political Economy, Contributions to Political Economy, etc. His research interests focus on Evolutionary Political Economy, Post Keynesian and Institutional Macroeconomic Theory and Policy, and the Greek Economy.
